WHAT'S NEW Mr. John Squarek (P. Eng) recently joined the Committee as a Director representing CAPP. He joins current representatives from the ERCB, CGA and CEPA on the Board. It is anticipated that his involvement and participation on the Board of Directors will be significant. Following is a biographic sketch for John E. Squarek:
Effective May 1, 2008 the prices for the Committee's 2005 Report and DVD versions have been reduced by 50% of the original prices. Free copies of the Committee's 2001 Report are available to all interested parties by contacting the office (297-7222, e mail cdngas potential.ca) to arrange pickup at the Energy Resources building.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Challenging opportunities are available for experienced explorationists
to contribute to the next Canada-wide natural gas resource assessment by
the Canadian Gas Potential Committee (CGPC). The Committee's previous three
reports have been used by a wide variety of government and public agencies,
as well as private companies to assist them in long-term planning,
exploration strategies and gas supply studies.
Skills and interests that we are looking for include:
- Broad experience with WCSB and/or frontier exploration plays and activities
- Experience with unconventional gas sources
- Interest in modern resource assessment methodologies
- Computer and report layout and editing skills
- Familiarity with government databases
